<p>Now that you are well aware of the physical requirements that you need to fulfil, let us proceed on to know what is included in a Physical Endurance Test.&nbsp;</p>

<h3><strong>Physical Endurance Test</strong></h3>

<p>As the name suggests, it is a test to check the fitness level of the candidates who have cleared Paper 1 and have even qualified for PST. Let us understand these in detail.</p>

<p><strong>Firstly, for male candidates, the PET includes each of the following tests:</strong></p>

	<div>1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes&nbsp;</div>
	</li>
	<li>
	<div>Long Jump: 3.65 metre in 3 chances&nbsp;</div>

	<div>High Jump: 1.2 metre in 3 chances&nbsp;</div>
	</li>
	<li>
	<div>Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metre in 3 chances</div>
	</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Secondly, for female candidates, the PET includes each of the following tests:</strong></p>

	<div>100 metre race in 18 seconds</div>
	</li>

	<div>800 metre race in 4 minutes&nbsp;</div>
	</li>
	<li>
	<div>Long Jump: 2.7 metre in 3 chances&nbsp;</div>

	<div>High Jump: 0.9 metre in 3 chances</div>

<p>Now that we are done with the first two phases of the exam, let us now proceed forward to understand the SSC CPO exam pattern 2023 for Paper 2.</p>

<h2><strong>SSC CPO 2023 Exam Pattern for Paper 2</strong></h2>

<p>After clearing the PST or PET, you are qualified to appear in Paper 2. Paper 2, like Paper 1, is a Computer Based Exam. However, it consists of only one subject, i.e., English Language and Comprehension. <ul>
	<li>Paper 2&nbsp;is a Computer Based Examination (CBE).</li>
	<li>There are 200 questions in Paper 2, and each question is worth 1 mark.</li>
	<li>The time allotted for these 200 questions is 120 minutes, i.e., 2 hours.</li>
	<li>Remember that there will be no negative marking if you do not attempt a question.</li>
	<li>However, in case you select a wrong answer, 1/3rd of the assigned mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.</li>
</ul>

<p>Let us now proceed on to the final phase of the CPO examination in 2023, i.e., Detailed Medical Examination.</p>

<h2><strong>Detailed Medical Examination&nbsp;</strong></h2>

<p>Once you have passed Paper 2, you have to go through a medical examination conducted by the Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade I of any Central or State Government Hospital or Dispensary.</p>

<p><strong>The criteria for the medical examination are as follows:</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li><strong>Eye Sight: </strong>You must have a minimum near vision of N6 for a better eye and N9 for a worse eye. Moreover, you must have a minimum distant vision of 6/6 for the better eye and 6/9 for the worse eye.

	<ul>
		<li>The vision of both eyes must meet the requirements without any correction, like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity.</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
	<li>You must not have knock knees, flat feet, varicose veins, or squints in your eyes.</li>
	<li>You must be in good health, both mentally and physically.</li>
</ul>

<h2><strong>SSC CPO</strong>&nbsp;<strong>Notification Overview </strong></h2>

<h2><strong>SSC CPO&nbsp;2023 Syllabus </strong></h2>

<h3><strong>SSC CPO Syllabus 2023 Paper 1</strong></h3>

<h2><strong>SSC CPO 2023 Marking Scheme</strong></h2>

	<li>As we are aware, the CPO recruitment examination in 2023 consists of two papers. To clarify, both will comprise objective multiple-choice questions. Moreover, these questions will be presented in both Hindi and English within Parts I, II, and III of Paper 1. Additionally, there will be a provision for negative marking. One-third of the marks allotted to a question will be deducted for each incorrect answer in both Papers 1 and 2.</li>

	<p>Further, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificate holders (as on 15.08.2023) will be given bonus marks in Paper 1 and Paper 2, which will be added to the normalised scores of such candidates as per the following scheme:</p>

<strong>SSC CPO 2023 Marks Normalization </strong></h2>

<p>Additionally, it is crucial that you are aware of the normalisation of marks and how it will take place in the examination. Normalisation of marks is a method in which the marks of various candidates are brought to an equal level to prevent any disparities in the difficulty levels of question papers across multiple shifts of the same exam.</p>

<p>Moreover, according to the official notification, SSC will follow the formula mentioned in <a href="https://study.kdcampus.live/admin/assets/uploads/ckeditor/Normalization_Formula_for_SSC_07.02.2019.pdf">Notice No.1-1/2018-P&amp;P-I dated 07-02-2019</a>. This normalised score will help determine the final merit and cut-off marks.</p>
