<p>SSC conducts the SSC Multi-Tasking Staff Exam (MTS) every year in the following stages:</p>

<ol>
	<li>SSC MTS CBE</li>
	<li>SSC MTS PET/PST (Only for the post of Havaldar)</li>

<p>SSC MTS Computer Based Examination will be held in two sessions: Session I and Session II, both of which are mandatory and will be conducted on the same day. The examination will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. There will be no negative marking in Session I, but in Session II, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. You will have 45 minutes to complete Session I, and it will automatically close after this time. Similarly, Session II will also last for 45 minutes, and once this time is up, the Computer Based Examination will end.</p>

<p>If you have applied for SSC Havaldar posts, you will need to take the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) after qualifying in the SSC MTS Tier-1 Exam. <h3><strong>Nationality:</strong></h3>

<p>According to the eligibility criteria for the SSC MTS 2024 exam, you must either be:</p>

<ul>
	<li>An Indian citizen, or</li>
	<li>Subject of Bhutan/Nepal, or</li>
	<li>A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.</li>
</ul>

<p>If you belong to the last two above-mentioned categories then you must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.</p>

<h3><strong>Age Limit (As on 01-08-2024):</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>For MTS, you should be between 18 and 25 years old (born between 02.08.1999 and 01.08.2006).</li>
	<li>For Havaldar in CBIC and CBN, Department of Revenue, and certain MTS posts in various departments, your age should be between 18 and 27 years (born between 02.08.1997 and 01.08.2006).</li>
</ul>

<p>Additionally, if you belong to a reserved category, there’s great news! You are eligible for age relaxation as per Government regulations.</p>

<h3><strong>Educational Qualifications:</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>You must have passed the Matriculation Examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board on or before the cut-off date, i.e., 01-08-2024.</li>
