<h2 id="content-id-689-4"><strong>SSC MTS Physical Standard Test</strong></h2>

<p>Further, after clearing the Computer Based Examination, there is a Physical Efficiency Test/ Physical Standard Test (PST). However, this PET/ PST is only for the post of Havaldar.</p>

<p>Further, for males, PET test includes of walking 1600 meters in 15 minutes. Whereas, for women it is walking 1 Km in 20 minutes. Moreover, for the post of havaldar, there is a minimum physical standard in CBIC and CBN for men and women. <p>Moving forward, as we know, a Computer Based Examination will be conducted in two different sessions on the same day for SSC MTS recruitment examination 2023. In session 1, there is only Numerical and Mathematical Ability along with Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving. Further, Session 2 is inclusive of General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension.</p>

<h2 id="content-id-689-6"><strong>SSC MTS Marking Scheme 2023</strong></h2>

<p>As we already know, the SSC MTS Exam comprises of two sessions of Computer Based Examinations. Session 1 consists of 40 questions and Session 2 consists of 50 questions. Each question carries 3 marks. Moreover, the first session of the CBE exam is free of negative markings. However, the second session carries a negative marking of <strong>one mark </strong>for every incorrect answer. </p>

<h2><strong>SSC MTS&nbsp;Physical Standard&nbsp;Test</strong></h2>

<p>Further, after clearing the Computer Based Examination, there is a Physical Efficiency Test/ Physical Standard Test (PST). However, this PET/ PST&nbsp;is only for the post of Havaldar.</p>

<p>Further, for males, PET test includes of walking&nbsp;1600 meters in 15 minutes. Whereas, for women it is walking&nbsp;1 Km in 20 minutes. Moreover, for the post of havaldar, there is a minimum physical standard in CBIC and CBN for men and women. According <a href="https://ssc.nic.in/SSCFileServer/PortalManagement/UploadedFiles/Final_Notice_MTS2023_30062023.pdf">the official notification by SSC</a>, following physical standards are released:</p>

<h2><strong>SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2023</strong></h2>

<p>Before we go further, it is important to know the exam pattern. Knowing the exam pattern helps you in your preparations as it&nbsp;guides you and helps you gain confidence.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Moving forward, as we know, a Computer-Based Examination will be conducted in two different sessions on the same day for SSC MTS recruitment examination 2023. In session 1, there is only Numerical and Mathematical Ability along with Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving. Session 2 is inclusive of General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension.</p>

<h2><strong>SSC MTS&nbsp;Marking Scheme 2023</strong></h2>

<p>As we already know, the SSC MTS Exam comprises of two sessions of Computer Based Examinations. Session 1 consists of 40 questions and Session 2 consists of 50 questions. Each question carries 3 marks. Moreover, the&nbsp;first session of the CBE&nbsp;exam is free of negative markings. However,&nbsp;the second session&nbsp;carries&nbsp;a negative marking of one mark for every incorrect answer.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>SSC MTS 2023 Marks Normalization</strong></h2>

<p>Subsequently, let us understand what normalization refers to before we discuss how normalization was inculcated in the SSC MTS Exam 2023. Normalization refers to the statistical method through which the marks of candidates are brought on an equal level considering the difference in the difficulty&nbsp;level of various shifts of the exam.</p>

The normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.</p>
