The negative marking scheme for the SSC CGL exam is as follows:

- In Tier II of the exam, there will be a deduction of 1 mark for each incorrect answer in Section-I, Section-II, and Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I. Moreover, for Paper II, there will be a penalty of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer.
