What are the subjects under SSC GD Constable?

There are four main subjects which come under the 'Computer Based Examination' of the SSC GD Constable exam:

• General Intelligence and Reasoning

• General Knowledge and General Awareness

• Elementary Mathematics

• English/ Hindi

What is the marking scheme for SSC GD Constable?

There are a total of 80 questions in the SSC GD Constable examination, and each of these questions are of 2 marks. And for every wrong answer, there is a negative marking of 0.5 marks.

How does the selection process for GD Constable work?

The candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the Computer Based Examination, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Physical Standard Test (PST). Lastly, after clearing the PET/PST round, they will have to undergo a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) before getting selected.
