The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam includes 100 questions, testing your knowledge across four subjects. Each subject carries 25 questions for a total of 200 marks, and you'll have 60 minutes to complete the Tier 1 exam. Moreover, the Tier 1 Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple Choice questions only. The questions will be set in English, Hindi, and any language chosen by you in the application form, except for the English Language section.

Moving on to the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam, conducted in two sessions on the same day, tests you across three sections. Each section is crucial to qualify, with questions offered in English and Hindi (except for English Language). Additionally, Tier 2 will be conducted in two sessions - Session I and Session II, on the same day. In Session I, you will complete Section I, Section II, and Module I of Section III. Session II will cover Module II of Section III. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section I, Section II, and Module I of Section III.
