IBPS RRB Office Assistant Marking Scheme 2023

Firstly, the Preliminary Examination is an objective type exam which consists of two tests of 40 marks each (a total of 80 marks). Secondly, the Main Examination is also an objective type exam which consists of five tests for a total of 200 marks. However, there is a negative marking of one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to a question for every incorrect answer. 

IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2023 Marks Normalization

To begin with, let us understand what 'Normalization' is. Normalization is the statistical method used to bring the marks to an equal level keeping in mind the difference in the difficulty level of various shifts of the exam. According to the official notification, the scores obtained by the candidates will be normalized using the equi-percentile method. Moreover,  the scores obtained by you will then be rounded up to two decimal points for calculation purposes.
