<h2><strong>CUET Exam Pattern 2023</strong></h2>

<h2><strong>CUET Marking Scheme 2023</strong></h2>

<p>As it was already highlighted, the CUET examination consists of three sections. Further, let us discuss the marking scheme for each of these sections:</p>

<h3><strong>Language Test</strong></h3>

<p>This section comprises 50 questions out of which only 40 questions are to&nbsp;be attempted. Each question carries a total of 5 marks (a total of 200 marks). However, there is a negative marking of one mark&nbsp;for every incorrect answer.&nbsp;</p>

<h3><strong>Domain Test</strong></h3>

<p>This section comprises 45-50&nbsp;questions out of which only 35-40 questions are to&nbsp;be attempted. Each question carries a total of 5 marks (a total of 175-200 marks). However, there is a negative marking of one mark&nbsp;for every incorrect answer.</p>

<h3><strong>General Test</strong></h3>

<p>This section comprises 60 questions out of which only 50 questions are to&nbsp;be attempted. Each question carries a total of 5 marks (a total of 250 marks). However, there is a negative marking of one mark&nbsp;for every incorrect answer.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>CUET 2023 Marks Normalization</strong></h2>

<p>Before we take a look at the normalization of marks, why don&#39;t we begin by learning what normalization is? Normalization is the statistical method used to bring the marks to an equal level, keeping in mind the difference in the difficulty level of various shifts of the exam. Further, CUET scores are normalized using the <strong>Equi-Percentile method</strong>.</p>
