Ten persons namely, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, and J live in a building of five floors in Pacific Goals in Hyderabad. The ground floor is considered the 1st floor, the floor above it the 2nd floor, and so on. Each floor consists of two types of flats i.e. Flat-1 and Flat-2. On every floor, Flat 1 is in the west of Flat-2. The dimensions of each of the flats are the same. Only one person lives in each flat.

I lives on the 2nd floor. F lives two floors above G such that they both live in either Flat-1 or Flat-2 of their floors. E lives in the west of C on an odd-numbered floor. J, who lives in the same type of flat as that of E, lives either three floors below or above A in the same type of flat as that of A. B and C live in the same type of flats such that B lives two floors above C. H lives neither on the topmost floor nor to the east of A.
