Seven boxes are kept one above another namely Q, R, S, W, X, Y, and Z, and every box is numbered as a multiple of 4 (i.e. 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, and 28) but not necessarily in the same order. Each box has only one number.

Box numbered as 20 is placed at the third position from the bottom. The box W is kept just below the one which is numbered as a perfect square but not placed just below Q. The sum of numbers on the boxes placed at the top and bottom is 24. Only two boxes are kept above Box S which is numbered as a perfect square. Box R is numbered as 8. Box X is numbered as a multiple of 3 and 8 both and is placed below box numbered as 20. Q is placed at the top. Box Y doesn't have a number more than 16. The box at the top is numbered more than Box Y.

<p>1) First, we place definite information i.e. Box numbered as 20 is placed third from the bottom, Q is placed at the top, and Two boxes are placed above S which has a number perfect square either 16 or 4.</p>

<p>2) Box X is numbered as a multiple of 3 and 8 both i.e. 24 and is placed below box numbered as 20. R is numbered as 8.</p>

<p>3) We have the sum of boxes placed at the top and bottom i.e. 24 we can consider 16 + 8 = 24. because another possibility can be 20+4 =24 but the box numbered as 20 is in the middle, so this is ruled out. We can place it just after the box numbered as 20.</p>

<p>4) Now Box S is numbered as 4 because of a single perfect square left. The box W is kept just below the one which is numbered as a perfect square but not placed just below Q, accordingly, we place W just below S.</p>

<p>5) Box Y doesn't have a number more than 16. The box at the top is numbered more than Box Y. So Box Q is numbered as 16 and the Bottom Box is numbered as 8 i.e. Box R. So Box Z has the number 20 and Box Y has the number 12. Box W is numbered as 28.</p>
