<p>Number of heads = Total number of animals</p>

<p>Suppose the number of animals with 4 legs and number of animals with 2 legs in Zoo A are ‘x’ and ‘y’ respectively.</p>

<p>So,</p>

<p>x + y = 84 ……….. (1)</p>

<p>And</p>

<p>4 × x + 2 × y = 272</p>

<p>⇒ 4x + 2y = 272 ……….. (2)</p>

<p>Solving both equations 1 and 2:</p>

<p>⇒ x = 52 and y = 32</p>

<p>Zoo A:</p>

<p>Number of heads = Total number of animals</p>

<p>Suppose the number of animals with 4 legs and number of animals with 2 legs in Zoo B are ‘a’ and ‘b’ respectively.</p>

<p>So,</p>

<p>a + b = 75 ……….. (3)</p>

<p>And</p>

<p>4 × a + 2 × b = 244</p>

<p>⇒ 4a + 2b = 244 ……….. (4)</p>

<p>Solving both equations 3 and 4:</p>

<p>⇒ a = 47 and b = 28</p>
