<p>Efficiency of P = 2 units/day</p>

<p>R is 50% less efficient than P:</p>

<p>Efficiency of R = 2 − 50% of 2 = 1 unit/day</p>

<p>Therefore, the efficiency ratio of P, Q and R = 2 : 1 : 1</p>

<p>Total efficiency of P, Q and R = 2 + 1 + 1 = 4 units/day</p>

<p>They complete the whole work in 10 days</p>

<p>Therefore, total work = 4 × 10 = 40 units</p>

<p>Efficiency of Q and R together = 1 + 1 = 2 units/day</p>
