<p>Smallest of B = y</p>

<p>Given:</p>

<p>7x + 14 = y</p>

<p>Average  = (7x + y) / 2 = 35</p>

<p>Substitute y = 7x + 14</p>

<p>(7x + 7x + 14) / 2 = 35</p>

<p>(14x + 14)  = 70</p>

<p>14x = 56</p>

<p>x = 4</p>

<p>Set A = 28, 35, 42</p>

<p>Set B = 42, 44, 46, 48</p>

<p>2nd smallest in A = 35</p>

<p>2nd largest in B = 46</p>
