<p>Therefore, the total work = (m + 4) × 12</p>

<p>= (11 + 4) × 12</p>

<p>= 15 × 12 = 180 man-days</p>

<p>If n men complete the same work in 18 days, then:</p>

<p>n × 18 = 180</p>

<p>n = 10</p>

<p>Therefore, m + n = 11 + 10 = 21</p>
