An insurance company processes claims through four branches - North, South, East and West. Each original claim falls into one of three mutually exclusive categories: Straight-through Approved (STP), Manually Approved, or Rejected. The data below relate to one operating cycle.

North Branch: The total number of original claims is 220. The number of STP-approved claims and manually approved claims is (P+18) and (Q-16), respectively. The number of rejected claims is 50.

South Branch: The number of STP-approved claims and manually approved claims is (Q-21) and (P+28), respectively. The number of rejected claims is (P-22). The total number of original claims is 225.

East Branch: The total number of original claims is 200. The number of STP-approved claims and manually approved claims is (R+30) and (S-20), respectively. The number of rejected claims is 40.

West Branch: The number of STP-approved claims and manually approved claims is (S-15)and (R+20), respectively. The number of rejected claims is (R-10). The total number of original claims is 205.

The line graph given below shows the average base processing time for a manually approved claim and the average base investigation time for a rejected claim at the four branches.



Note 1: The average manual-approval processing time per claim at the East branch is 20% more than the corresponding time at the North branch.

Note 2: The total time spent investigating all rejected claims at the South branch exceeds the total time spent investigating all rejected claims at the East branch by 520 minutes.
