<h2>SSC JHT 2023 Marking Scheme</h2>

As we are aware that the SSC JHT exam consists of two papers, out of which Paper 1 is a multiple choice Computer Based Test. Whereas, Paper 2 is a Descriptive one. Thus, Paper 1 consists of 200 questions for 1 mark each. However, for every wrong answer, there is a penalty of 0.25 marks i.e., 1 mark for 4 errors. On the other hand, Paper 2 has no such negative marking.

<h2>SSC JHT 2023 Marks&nbsp;Normalisation</h2>

Let&#39;s start by defining what normalisation of marks actually is. It&#39;s a statistical method that accounts for any variations in the level of difficulty of the question papers across various shifts of the same exam. Due to the possibility of varying question complexity between shifts, direct score comparison may not be fair. By bringing the scores into parity, normalisation overcomes this issue and enables a more accurate evaluation of applicants.

As a result, the formula was published by the <a href="https://study.kdcampus.live/admin/assets/uploads/ckeditor/Normalization_Formula_for_SSC_07.02.2019.pdf">Staff Selection Commission in Notice No. 1-1/2018-P&amp;P-I on February 7, 2019</a>, and has been used ever then.&nbsp;

<h2>SSC JHT 2023 Application Form Link</h2>

The staff selection commission released the official notification for SSC JHT 2023 on 22nd&nbsp;August 2023. Further, the application link will close after 20 days of the release date i.e 12th September 2023. Make sure you fill all necessary details correctly to avoid hustle later. <h2>SSC JHT 2023&nbsp;Application Fee</h2>

Although there is a Rs. 100 application fee for the SSC JHT&nbsp;exam but&nbsp;not everyone is required to pay it. Some people are excluded from having to pay the charge and those are

<h2>SSC JHT How to apply online: Step by Step Approach</h2>

<ol>
	<li>If you&#39;re a first-time candidate, you&#39;ll need to register at the&nbsp;official website of <a href="https://ssc.nic.in">SSC</a>.</li>
	<li>There are two parts to the application form: a one-time registration and an online application form. To register for the exam, go to the official website and click on &#39;Register Now&#39;.</li>
	<li>Then, enter your basic details, extra info, and contact info. Upload your passport-size photo and signature, and submit the registration form.</li>
	<li>Once you complete that step, you&#39;ll need to select your center and complete the remaining details, such as your educational background, top qualifications, etc. Some of the information on the application form will be pre-filled based on the registration form.</li>
	<li>After that, you need to pick your center and fill out the rest of the details, like your educational background and your top qualification.</li>
	<li>Finally, you need to preview and check the info on the application form, pay the fees, and submit the application. Then you can print out the application and keep it for future reference.</li>

<h2>SSC JHT 2023 Admit card and&nbsp;Exam Centers </h2>

As per the official notification of 2022,&nbsp;the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) tends to release the admit card 10 to 15 days prior to the exam dates. Since Paper 1&nbsp;of the SSC JHT examination is scheduled for October, we can anticipate the release of admit cards to occur around the beginning of the same month. Furthermore, while filling out the online Application Form (ANS), candidates need to indicate the Examination Centre(s) for which they intend to appear.
