When did SSC release the CGL notification for the year 2024?

What is the required educational qualification for the SSC CGL?

Following is the required educational qualification for SSC CGL:

• For the post of Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute along wuth a minimum of one-year research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution.
• For the post of Junior Statistical Officer- A candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard level. Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level is also acceptable.
• For the post of Statistical Investigator Grade II- A candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute.
• For all the other posts- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Is there any negative marking in SSC CGL exam 2024?

The negative marking scheme for the exam is as follows:

• In Tier I of the exam, there will be a penalty of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.
• In Tier II of the exam, there will be a deduction of 1 mark for each incorrect answer in Section-I, Section-II, and Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I. Moreover, for Paper II, there will be a penalty of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer.

When will the SSC CGL Tier I exam for 2024 be held?

The SSC CGL Tier I is expected to be held in the month of September- October 2024.
