When did SSC release the CGL notification for the year 2024?
The SSC CGL Notification has been released by SSC on 24th June 2024.
What is the required educational qualification for the SSC CGL?
Following is the required educational qualification for SSC CGL:
- For the post of Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute along wuth a minimum of one-year research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution.
- For the post of Junior Statistical Officer- A candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard level. Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level is also acceptable.
- For the post of Statistical Investigator Grade II- A candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute.
- For all the other posts- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
How long should one prepare for the SSC CGL exam 2024?

Is there any negative marking in SSC CGL exam 2024?
The negative marking scheme for the exam is as follows:
- In Tier I of the exam, there will be a penalty of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.
- In Tier II of the exam, there will be a deduction of 1 mark for each incorrect answer in Section-I, Section-II, and Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I. Moreover, for Paper II, there will be a penalty of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer.
When will the SSC CGL Tier I exam for 2024 be held?
