<h3>Marking Scheme for DEPR</h3>

The following is the RBI Grade B marking scheme:

<ul>
	<li>In the Phase 1 exam, incorrect answers result in a 1/4 marks deduction.</li>
	<li>Paper 1 of the Phase 2 test consists of three sections and a total of 62 questions.</li>
	<li>Questions in Sections I and II of the Phase 2 exam are for one, two, and three marks, and questions in Section III are worth one, two, and four marks.</li>
	<li>There is RBI Grade B negative marking for incorrect responses.</li>
	<li>All sections: 1/3 marks for questions worth one mark, 1/2 marks for questions worth two marks, one mark for questions worth three marks, and two marks for questions worth four marks.</li>

<h3>Marking Scheme for DSIM</h3>

The following is the DSIM marking scheme:

<ul>
	<li>For incorrect responses, there is a 1/4 mark deduction in the Phase 1 exam.</li>
	<li>There is a penalty for candidates who mark incorrect answers during the Phase 2 exam. As a punishment, 5/3 of the marks allotted to that question are subtracted for each incorrect response.</li>
</ul>

<h2>RBI Grade B 2023 Marks Normalization</h2>

Marks normalization entails great importance as it helps to evaluate a candidate&#39;s performance with fairness and equity. Moreover, normalized scores&nbsp;facilitate the comparison of exams held in multiple shifts. Therefore, RBI Grade B notification 2023 states that &quot;the &lsquo;corrected scores&rsquo; obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using the equipercentile method. Moreover,&nbsp;the scores across various sessions will be equated using the standard practice of the IBPS&nbsp;to adjust for differences in the difficulty level of different tests held across various sessions.
