<p>The Indian Army launched an inter-service, “Nari Sashaktikaran Women Motorcycle Rally” from the National War Memorial, Delhi to Kargil War Memorial, Dras Ladakh. The rally was launched to commemorate the 24th anniversary of victory over Pakistan in the 1999 Kargil war.</p>

<p>The team consists of 25-member from three services including two Veer Naris, ten women officers of the Indian Army, one officer each of the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy, three women soldiers of the Indian Army, and eight wives of the Armed Forces. The team celebrates the victory of the armed forces in the Kargil war and pays tribute to the soldiers who made the greatest sacrifice in the service of the nation.</p>
