It was an internationally political movement founded by expatriate Indians to overthrow British rule in India. Key participants in the movement include Bhai Paramananda, Vishnu Ganesh Single, Sohan Singh, Har Dayal etc.

<h2 id="content-id-1699599322353-1">Today in 1956 Government of India reorganised the states according to linguistic principles and inaugurated a second five year plan</h2>

The states declared were MP, Punjab, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Karnataka. Union Territories Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep Minicoy and Amin Divi were approved.

He was an Indian Politician from West Bengal. He was a Senior Leader of Indian National Congress. He was first elected as a MLA to the West Bengal state legislative assembly in 1957.
