Nationality:

  1. Indian citizens are eligible.
  2. Subjects of Nepal, or migrants from Vietnam, Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries (with the intention to settle permanently in India) can apply.

Educational Qualifications:

  • For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai: A bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • For Indian Naval Academy: A degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
  • For Air Force Academy: A degree from a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or a Bachelor of Engineering.

Please not that the Educational qualifications 'as on date' differs in every exam notification released by the UPSC.

  • IMA & Indian Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates aged 20 to 24.
