RBI Grade B Exam Pattern 2023
Exam patterns provide valuable insights into the format of the test. It teaches you about the types of questions, the number of sections, and the time allocated for each section. - Exam Pattern for DR (General): The Phase I exam will be held online and consist of 4 subjects. Moreover, the Phase II exam will include 3 different Papers- I, II & II.

RBI Grade B Marking Scheme 2023
Marking for Grade B (DR) General Post
There is a penalty for wrong answers in Phase 1. To elaborate, every question answered incorrectly will lead to a deduction of 1/4th mark. Moreover, for each correctly answered question, you will be awarded 1 mark.
Marking Scheme for DEPR
In the Phase 1 exam, incorrect answers result in a 1/4 mark deduction. However, Phase 2 of all sections includes the following negative marking policies- 1/3 marks for questions worth one mark, 1/2 marks for questions worth two marks, one mark for questions worth three marks, and two marks for questions worth four marks.
Marking Scheme for DSIM
In the Phase 1 exam, incorrect responses result in a deduction of one-quarter of a mark. Furthermore, in the Phase 2 exam, you will face a penalty for marking incorrect answers, where 5/3 of the marks assigned to each question are deducted as a consequence.
RBI Grade B 2023 Marks Normalization
Marks Normalization holds great importance as it ensures that the final scores accurately portray your performance in comparison to others, even when the exams vary in difficulty. Hence, RBI will follow the equipercentile method to accurately measure your score. Moreover, the scores obtained by you will be equated using IBPS’ standard practice.
