Q:1 The correct answer is Option 3 i.e. 3 : 2.

From the bar graph:

Total number of people who have not claimed insurance for the diseases Dengue and Malaria

⇒ (1500 – 800) + (2000 – 1200) = 700 + 800 = 1500

Total number of people who have claimed insurance for the diseases Corona and Cancer

⇒ 600 + 400 = 1000

Hence,

Required ratio = 1500 : 1000 = 3 : 2

 

Q:2 The correct answer is Option 4 i.e. 61.1%.

From the bar graph:

Total number of people who have not claimed insurance for all diseases together

⇒ Persons who bought – persons who claimed

⇒ 9000 – 3500 = 5500

Total number of people who bought insurance for all diseases together = 9000

Required percentage = [5500/9000] × 100 = 61.1%
