Two satellites flying closely together will gather over 3,000 measurements to track the effects of space weather on communications, GPS, and power networks. <p>Indian Railways has successfully tested its first hydrogen-powered coach at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai, marking a significant advancement in sustainable transportation. Under the “Hydrogen for Heritage” initiative, 35 hydrogen-powered trains are planned for heritage routes, each costing ₹80 crore. A pilot project is also underway to retrofit a DEMU with hydrogen fuel on the Jind–Sonipat route. While current operational costs are high, hydrogen’s zero-emission benefits support India’s clean energy goals. The country is also promoting hydrogen mobility in other sectors, including buses.</p>
