<p>The Andhra Pradesh government launched the Digi-Lakshmi scheme on June 30, 2025, to empower urban poor women by helping them become digital service providers. Under this initiative, 9,034 Common Service Centres (ATOM kiosks) will be set up, offering around 250 public services. Women from Self-Help Groups aged 21–40, with a graduate degree and basic technical skills, can manage these centres. Supported by MEPMA, the scheme promotes entrepreneurship through training and loans, fostering self-reliance and women-led businesses in urban areas.</p>

<p>Two pilots died when an Indian Air Force SEPECAT Jaguar crashed near Churu, Rajasthan.
