<p>The Sea level hot test of CE20 Cryogenic Engine was recently carried out by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It is an indigenous engine developed by Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre of ISRO and it features an innovative Nozzle Protection System. The engine has recently been qualified for Ganaganyaan Mission with a thrust level of 20 tonnes.</p>

<p>DAE-Homi Bhabha Chairman Scheme was recently in news after Union Minister Shri Jitendra Singh gave a written reply in Rajya Sabha about the scheme. The Scheme is aimed at providing recognition and honorarium of 20 lakh to distinguished Scientists/Professors to carry out research and development work. The scheme is administered by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE).</p>

<p>The Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) has recently set up 4 Smart Advanced Manufacturing and Rapid Transformation Hub (SAMARTH) Centres under the SAMARTH UDYOG BHARAT 4.0 Initiative. The 4 centres are namely Centre for Industry 4.0 (C4i4) Lab, Pune; IITD-AIA Foundation for Smart Manufacturing, IIT Delhi; I-4.0 India @IISc, Bengaluru and Smart Manufacturing Demo and Development cell, CMTI, Bengaluru. The centres have been established under the scheme on Enhancement of Competitiveness in the Indian Capital Goods Sector. </p>

<p>A new predatory Amphipod species namely Dulcibella Camanchaca was recently discovered by Researchers from the University of Concepcion in Chile and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in the US. The species was discovered 7902 meters in the Atacama Trench and has been classified within the Eusiridae family. The Atacama Trench lies along the eastern South Pacific Ocean and it is a part of the hadal zone.</p>

<p>As per a study published in Lancet Planet Health, no Indian City meets WHO Air Quality Standards. The report states that No area in India meets PM 2.5 pollution of 5 micrograms per cubic meter air levels recommended by WHO and 81.9% population living in areas exceeding India's National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) of 40 micrograms per cubic meter air. WHO revised the Air Quality Guidelines in September 2021. </p>

<p>The White Winged Wood Duck also known as Deo Hanh in Assamese was recently spotted in Neelmoni Beel Artificial pond located at Nameri Tiger Reserve (NTR). Its scientific name is Asarcornis Scutulata and the duck is limited to Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Its IUCN Conservation status is Critically endangered and it mostly resides in dense Tropical evergreen forests. </p>

<p>Highly detailed 3D images of Foetal Brain named Dharani was recently released by Indian Institute of Technology-Madras (IIT-M). Dharini is the largest publicly accessible digital dataset of the human foetal brain and it provides detailed insights into brain development from the second trimester of the foetus. Over 500 brain regions have been identified making it a complete Atlas of the Human Brain. The research could help discover new insights into neonatal Brain Health.</p>

<p>Researchers from ATREE have recently discovered 5 new species of the Darwin Wasp subfamily Microleptinae from India and Thailand. Out of 6 4 species have been discovered from India namely Microleptes Chiani, Microleptes Gowrishankari, Microleptes Sandeshkaduri and Microleptes Tehriensis. Wasps are parasitoids parasitizing insect groups mainly Lepidoptera, Coleoptera and Hymenoptera. </p>
