<p>The Environment Ministry has mandated for registration of exotic pets listed under Schedule IV of the WPA act with state wildlife departments with the the help of PARVESH 2.0 portal. The Proactive And Responsive Facilitation by Interactive, Virtuous and Environmental Single Window Hub (PARVESH) is a web based application for online submission and monitoring of proposals related to environment and wildlife. </p>

<p>The Finance Ministry via Union Budget 2024 has increased the loan limit under MUDRA 2.0 loans. The Tarun Category under the scheme has increased its limit to 20 lakh. The initiative targets the people who have successfully repaid previous MUDRA loans. Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana is a Government of India initiative aimed at providing affordable credit to micro and small enterprises.</p>

<p>The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is running a pilot of Unified Lending Interface (ULI) Platform, aimed at transforming the lending space. It is a consent based platform that aims to provide friction less credit by cutting down the time taken for appraisal for rural and small borrowers. The platform will connect NBFCs, fintech firms and borrowers.</p>

<p>The term literacy has been defined by the Union Ministry of Education under the New India Literacy Program (NILP). Literacy has been defined as the ability to read, write and compute with comprehension whereas Full Literacy will be considered when the state achieves 95% literacy in a State or UT. NILP is a Centrally sponsored scheme to promote literacy among non literates in the age group of 15 and above. </p>

<p>The National Medical Register (NMR) portal was recently launched by the Union Health Ministry. The portal under National Medical Commission (NMC) registers all MBBS doctors eligible for registration in India. NMR will be a comprehensive database of all allopathic (MBBS) registered doctors in India and will be linked with the Aadhaar ID of the doctors.</p>

<p>RHUMI-1 was recently launched from Thiruvidandhai in Chennai making it India's first reusable hybrid rocket. RHUMI-1 has been developed by Tamil Nadu based startup Space Zone India in collaboration with Martin Group. The rocket uses both liquid and solid fuel and its hybrid design reduces the risk of accidental detonation.</p>

<p>The number of cases due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) surged in Gujarat. The AES can be caused by a variety of pathogens like Virus, bacteria, fungi and parasites. It has similar symptoms with other diseases like Enterovirus Meningitis, Chandipura Vesiculovirus (CHPV) and Japanese Encephalitis. It leads to respiratory failure and nasal bleeding in children.</p>

<p>Researchers have discovered a New dinosaur species named Alpkarakush Kyrgyzicus from the northern part of Fergana Depression, Kyrgyzstan. It is a new species of larger Theropod dinosaur that roamed our planet during the Callovian age of the Jurassic period. It is the first large Jurassic Predatory dinosaur ever unearthed between Central Europe and East Asia.</p>

<p>The Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah recently inaugurated the zonal office of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Raipur, Chattisgarh. NCB was constituted in 1985 under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. It is headquartered in New Delhi and is the nodal agency for drug law enforcement and intelligence under the Ministry of Home Affairs.</p>
