<p>The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued new guidelines allowing minors aged 10 and above to independently open and operate savings and term deposit accounts, subject to each bank’s policies. All minors, regardless of age, can still open accounts through guardians. Banks may offer services like internet banking and debit cards to eligible minors. Overdrawing is strictly prohibited. Upon turning 18, fresh KYC and account instructions are required. Banks must align with these norms by July 1, 2025.</p>

Since 1985, GCC has preferred protection through initiatives such as Green Gulf Initiative and Convention on Biological Diversity and CITES, which has increased regional biodiversity efforts.</p>

<p>Chinese scientists have tested a hydrogen-based explosive that produces a fireball lasting over two seconds—15 times longer than TNT—without using nuclear materials, according to a recent study. Developed by the 705 Research Institute under the China State Shipbuilding Corporation, the 2-kilogram device reached temperatures above 1,000°C during a controlled test. The extended thermal effect is due to magnesium hydride, a hydrogen storage material. Though specific military uses were not detailed, the study noted potential applications for wide-area impact or targeted energy release.</p>
