<p>The Indian startup ecosystem has achieved a remarkable funding total of 12.2 billion dollars within the first ten months of this year. This figure has already exceeded the total funding raised throughout 2023, with two months remaining in the year. In October alone, domestic startups secured over 1 billion dollars through 119 transactions. September recorded the second-highest funding level at 1.63 billion dollars, following a peak of 1.92 billion dollars noted in June. In October, the growth and late-stage funding sector accounted for 28 deals, contributing 846.2 million dollars to the overall funding total.</p>

<p>The Telangana government has granted administrative approval for the Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase II project, which is estimated to cost ₹24,269 crore. This initiative will be executed as a joint venture with the central government. The project will encompass five Metro corridors spanning a total of 76.4 kilometers, with both the state government, through Hyderabad Airport Metro Limited, and the central government sharing the investment equally at a 50:50 ratio.</p>

<p>The managing committee of the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund in Telangana, under the leadership of Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, has sanctioned financial assistance programs for ex-servicemen and their families. Among the significant resolutions made, the committee will allocate Rs 3 lakh to the parents of unmarried soldiers, Rs 2.5 lakh to the parents of married soldiers, and Rs 3 lakh to the spouses of married soldiers who have lost their lives in service. Additionally, the monthly allowances for fully disabled soldiers have been raised from Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000.</p>

<p>The National Stock Exchange has introduced a mobile application and websites in eight new languages to celebrate its 30 years of operation. The NSE began trading in the equities market on November 3, 1994. Ashishkumar Chauhan, the Managing Director and CEO of NSE, stated that the newly added languages are Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu, which increases the total number of languages available on the NSE platform to twelve. </p>

<p>A new study published in the journal OneEarth explores how marine biodiversity conservation, human health and wellbeing are connected. The results suggest that marine protected areas can be good for both planet and people. These areas of the ocean are legally recognised by governments as being important for marine conservation. They are protected by putting limits on human activity within and around them. Once a government declares a marine protected area, you usually can’t live in it, fish, build a beach resort, start a fish farm or drill for oil in it. </p>

<p>The officials have announced that the construction of 12 out of the 20 river bridges planned for the 508-kilometer Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor in Gujarat has been finalized. The recently completed bridge, measuring 120 meters in length, spans the Kharera River in the Navsari district and marks the 12th bridge to be finished in the state, according to the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL). This bullet train initiative encompasses a distance of 352 kilometers in Gujarat and 156 kilometers in Maharashtra, with a total of 12 stations designated at locations including Mumbai, Thane, Virar, Boisar, Vapi, Bilimora, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand/Nadiad, Ahmedabad, and Sabarmati.</p>
