<p>The UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) have recently signed an agreement to safeguard Miombo forest located across the border region between Mozambique and Zimbabwe. The agreement is aimed at implementation of projects to protect forest and facilitate trade in the region. The projects will be funded by Italy under the Mattei Plan of Africa.</p>

<p>Indigenous Methylocucumis Oryzae were recently discovered by Researchers from Western India. They are described as India's first cultures of indigenous Indigenous Methylocucumis Oryzae. Methylocucumis Oryzae is a natural bacteria and is an important methanotroph component. They are also called Methane Eating Cucumbers.</p>

<p>Amidst violent student protests across Bangladesh, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled the country. The control was taken over by the Army under General Waker-Uz-Zaman. The protestors were opposing the return of 30% quota in government employees at all levels for the freedom fighters who fought the 1972 war.</p>

<p>A global platform was formed by Manipur based Thadou Students Association (TSA). The aim of the platform will be to showcase critical issues faced by the community in Manipur. Thadou are indigenous people living in Imphal Valley in Manipur and are second largest in population after Meitei. They belong to the Tibeto-Burman family of Sino-Tibetan languages. </p>

<p>The Indian Air Force gave clearance to DRDO for the production of 200 Astra Missiles. The production will be jointly done by DRDO and Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) for Su-30 and LCA Tejas fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force. It is a Beyond Visual range air to air missile built to engage and destroy aerial targets.</p>

<p>An Innovative new study was recently published by scientists whereby the Glioblastoma Cancer cells were reprogrammed by Artificial Intelligence into Dendritic cells for Cancer Immunotherapy. Glioblastoma is a type of Cancer that starts as a growth of cells in the brain or spinal cord and is caused by DNA Mutations.</p>

<p>The threat of Lyme Disease is increasing, affecting approximately 5 lakh individuals in the US each year. It is a vector borne disease caused by bacterium Borrelia Burgdorferi and is transmitted to humans through bites of infected black legged ticks. It is most commonly reported in North America, Europe and Asia.</p>

<p>Bailey Bridge was assembled at Chooralmala by the Indian Army's Madras Engineer Group or Madras Sappers. The bridge will help the convoy reach Mundakkai village, the worst hit in Wayanad landslides. It is a modular bridge and was invented by Donald Coleman Bailey, an English Civil engineer during World War 2. </p>

<p>The Bagata Tribe who migrated to Andhra Pradesh in 1970s to work for Lower Sileru Hydro-Electric Project construction continue to reel under darkness as they fight on the backfoot for electricity. The Tribe is a PVTG and migrated from Odisha along with Porja, Goud and Konda Dora to work in the project. They speak Oriya language and Dhimsa is one of the dances performed by them.</p>
