India&#39;s first dedicated Yoga Policy was recently unveiled by Uttarakhand also known as Devbhoomi. The policy was to develop Uttarakhand as a Global Yoga Hub and integrate Ayurveda and Yoga into Healthcare. Rishikesh in Uttarakhand has already been recognised as the Yoga Capital of the World. The policy is set to create job opportunities along with establishment of Yoga Grams and Wellness Centers.

Researchers from 9 countries have recently been alarmed about the potential creation of Mirror Bacteria. Mirror Bacteria is an synthetic organism in which the molecular structure found in nature is reversed and could put humans, animals and plants at risk of exposure to dangerous pathogens. Its creation would disrupt the natural molecular design leading to catastrophic outcomes.&nbsp;

The 10th edition of International Forest Fair focusing on forest related activities recently commenced in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The first Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Testing (OSAT) plant was inaugurated by Suchi Semicon in Surat, Gujarat. The plant provides essential services like Assembling, Testing and Packaging semiconductor components. The aim of the plant is to produce up to 3 million semiconductor chips daily and expected to generate 1200 jobs over the next 5 years.

Gujarat's first Semiconductor Assembly Plant

The Ministry of External Affairs recently announced the joining of Moldova as the new member of International Solar Alliance (ISA). ISA is an international treaty based organisation headquartered in Gurugram India and aims to unite countries in addressing challenges related to technology, financing and scaling solar energy initiatives. The agreement of accession was formalised by External Affairs Minister S.Jaishankar and Moldovan Deputy PM Mihai Popsoi.

A) A treaty-based international intergovernmental organisation, International Solar Alliance (ISA), aims at mobilising more than USD 1000 billion of investment needed by 2030 for the massive deployment of solar energy. 
B) Under India&#39;s Presidency of the ISA, it has undertaken numerous impactful projects, including solarisation of Malawi&#39;s Parliamentary building, solar-powered healthcare centres in Fiji, solar-powered cold storage facility in Seychelles, and solar PV rooftop systems in Kiribati.

Moldova joins International Solar Alliance

मोल्दोवा इंटरनेशनल सोलर अलायंस में शामिल हुआ

The Search and Rescue Aid Tool (SARAT) aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of sea rescue operations was recently upgraded by the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS). It was introduced for the first time in 2016 aiding the Indian Coast Guard in search operations. The 2.0 version of SARAT includes enhanced visuals and colour coded search regions and utilises high resolution Ocean current data to model drift accurately.

B) The SARAT application is capable of modeling the potential search area for various objects that may be lost at sea, including individuals, by utilizing the last known time and location of the missing object.

The 22nd edition of CII Connect 2024 was recently hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Tamil Nadu in Chennai. The theme of the event was &ldquo;Artificial Intelligence in Action- Real World Applications in Business&rdquo;. The event aims to highlight the transformative potential of AI in various sectors and was chaired by Srivats Ram, Chairman of CII Tamil Nadu State Council and Managing director of Wheels India Ltd.

A) It was inaugurated by IT Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, with Kumar Jayant, Additional Chief Secretary of the IT Department, joining as a panelist.

C) The summit also explored next-gen technologies such as quantum computing, AR/VR, and the development of AI-enabled products.

The 38th edition of National Games is set to take place in Dehradun from January 28 to February 14, 2025. The mascot of the Games named Mauli is inspired from Monal, Uttarakhand&#39;s State Bird. The tagline of the games is Sankalp se Shikhar Tak. Two traditional sports namely Yoga and Mallakhamb are included in this edition of National Games.

राष्ट्रीय खेलों का 38वां संस्करण 28 जनवरी से 14 फरवरी, 2025 तक देहरादून में आयोजित किया जाएगा। खेलों का शुभंकर मौली उत्तराखंड के राज्य पक्षी मोनाल से प्रेरित है। खेलों की टैगलाइन संकल्प से शिखर तक है। राष्ट्रीय खेलों के इस संस्करण में योग और मल्लखंब नामक दो पारंपरिक खेल शामिल किए गए हैं।

क) आगामी 38वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों के शुभंकर के अनावरण का समारोह देहरादून के रायपुर स्थित महाराणा प्रताप स्पोर्ट्स कॉलेज में बड़े ही भव्यता के साथ सम्पन्न हुआ। 
ख) इसके अतिरिक्त, पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने खेल के बुनियादी ढांचे को बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से 500 करोड़ रुपये के पर्याप्त निवेश की घोषणा की, जिसमें नए खेल के मैदानों का विकास, स्टेडियमों का आधुनिकीकरण, स्विमिंग पूल, साइक्लिंग ट्रैक, जल खेल सुविधाएं और शूटिंग रेंज का निर्माण शामिल है। 
ग) उन्होंने स्थानीय प्रतिभाओं को बढ़ावा देने के लिए पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में छोटे स्टेडियम बनाने की मंशा भी बताई।
